Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a private deemed university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Its located at a distance of approximately 13 km from the Bhubaneswar Airport (Biju Patnaik International Airport) and at a distance of about 11.5km from Bhubaneswar Railway Station.


KIIT is a multi-campus university. Its 23 campuses span 25 sq. km. and have a built up area of 12 million sq. ft. Apart from academic blocks, administrative blocks and student residences, attractions on campus include a Rose Garden, Art Gallery, Sculpture Garden, Tribal Museum and a 35000 capacity multisport stadium.

Travel and Accomodation

Bhubaneswar is well connected by Air, Rail, and Road. The Biju Patnaik International Airport has flight connectivity to all major cities of the country and has connecting flights to all international destinations. The Bhubaneswar Railway Station is located at a center point and is a part of the East Coast Railway. People traveling from all parts of the country can very conveniently reach Bhubaneswar railway station and go anywhere with the help of public transport buses, cabs and auto rickshaws etc. without any hassle. The National Highway – 16 (NH-16) passes through Bhubaneswar. Earlier it was NH-5. It’s a major national highway in India that runs along the East Coast of West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Bhubaneswar has a wide range of hotels from luxurious to budget levels and one can directly book the same. The organizers have earmarked a fixed number of rooms at some hotels. These rooms will be made available on a first come first-serve basis. Details regarding the accommodation will be uploaded to the ATM website.

Weather in November

November, the last month of the post-monsoon autumn, and early winter in Bhubaneswar is a fantastic time for roaming around the city with temperatures in the range of an average low of 19°C (65°F) and an average high of 28°C (82°F).
